COATING REMOVAL
Coating removal is the process of removing any top layer or applied coating from an existing concrete surface. This could include paint, lacquers, sealers, self-levelors or thick substances such as epoxy or concrete.

Coating removal can be accomplished using a variety of methods, including scarifying, grinding, scabbling, shotblasting and even non-mechanical means such as acid. The best method depends on the type of coating to be removed.
